Have you done the same to techno lego? I have been the sparks for the 3 doll's houses my wife has made - in dispute about payment mind. I have used very thin white wire which may be useful to you.

My girls had a toy with LEDs and a flasher unit. I cannibalised that, and an old xmas light string just for one lamp.
I will make it smaller so it all fits inside the TARDIS, but it’s fine as it is.

I have many technic sets right back to 1977. More recent ones have the battery box, motors and lights, some with remote control. I started this thread a few days ago.
