Where are the auto-saved posts kept?

My browser just crashed and i had an auto-saved but unpublished post. Can I get it back?

If you go back to the thread you were replying to when your browser took a dump and click on the 'Reply To Thread' button you should get a 'restore saved content' option (or something similar) in the reply box if the autosaved content is still in the server cache. I'm not sure how long the server holds the autosaved content but I think it's at least a day and possibly much longer.
