Where's the time/current for BS1361's gone to??

I've just realised that fig 3.1 in the BRB for time/current curves on 1361's is completely missing from the new book - anyone know why???

Deleted - Wrong BS number!!!

I believe they are now renumbered as BS 88-3, so the curves are still there p296 BGB

I don't think it was very clear from looking at the BGB itself, I think I read about it somewhere else.

Although it is listed in APP 1 (BGB) under the BS 1361 heading/listing.

They are not the same fuse though!
The "new" fuses have slightly different characteristics.

On closer inspection and comparison of the curves and tables, you are correct Paul.

So what is the consensus here then ?

Can we use the new curves for the older standard ?

Because the new standard gives lower figures than the old, so should be less onerous, or have I got this --- about face ?

You cannot use the new curves for the old fuses.
You MUST use the data relevant to the fuse standard in question.

ok, so what exactly does the IET expect us to do when doing calcs for new installs using 1361's (as new) but install has to comply to Jan 1st?
