Hello

Perhaps you fellas can help me.
I've been asked to go and have a look at a job where i am told the ballast on a fluorescent fitting has gone. The old ballast says Arlen EFA HF136 which after a bit of web browsing I found to be a 36w ballast with various other dimensions etc.

Can anyone tell me, do I have to get exactly that type? Do they come in standard sizes? If so which others could I use and finally where in east to north London could i pick 1 up?

Thanks

Any make of 1x36W high frequency ballast should be ok providing it has the correct dimensions to fit in and secure properly.

When stripping out old fittings from joba I use to keep some of the white solid core internal cable to extend if fitting different dimensions stranded doesnt fit the push fit guff that well

Any 36x1 will work remember to go by the drawing on the new ballast as wire posistions maay be different from the old one
