which card?

I'm trying to get work as a mate but most places require I have an ECS/CSCS Card. Having spent the last 10 years in the Navy, I have no idea what these are. I've looked on the websites but can't really figure out which ones I need. Can anyone enlighten me? I've got 17th edition and I'm starting a 2 year diploma if that helps?

You have to complete the ecs health an safety test first, very easy multiple choice test..once this is complete you can apply for a card..you'll be graded as a labourer until you complete your NVQ3..this is ok tho as it'll get you on site as a mate..
