ok been asked to remove all cables, sockets, switchs, lamps back to db as a office is being demolished for a car park but want db/cu left for other part of building i cant really put anything in for Ze/Zs R1+R2/R2 tricky one or just put N/A for all outputs

regards confused :D

If all you're doing is disconnection works then no cert is needed.

If the DB is to be left then just measure Zs, PFC etc, at this board and use the sub-main as the circuit if you really need to issue a cert.

its probably not a "CERT" hes looking for it will be something to state that everything from pointA in that part of the building to be demolished is certified DEAD

I was working on Temps in a job where the main sparky killed everything to the DBs all was dead except one cable feeding our db and one feeding anotherpart of the building from SP transformer . the demolition guys cut through a big pile of micc cables and included in this was the remote EMstop circuit for the transformer Main contractor was beelin(very angry) specialy when the sparky said "To the best of my knowlage and as no wiring diagrams were availlable all circuits are dead"

in other words watch how you word any paperwork or you could end up with a BIG bill

given the chap a ring he want all sockets, lamps & fittings kept for other building being built the cables & swa he wants for scrap ... and he wants all mcb/rcd blanked off ... but wants cert saying its dead and no lives are about appart from other office the only other problems i have is the fire alarm system thats links with main office, sub office, old office
