Just received a Eufy CCTV floodlight camera (This one) which requires existing wiring. We have two outdoor lights on the side of our house with a cable running between them, my plan is to T off of this cable using a weatherproof junction box and cable glands.

My question is what type of cable should I use? Will this one be ok? Cable link

The different sizes and codes for cables are confusing me a little.

Thanks in advance.

Another quick question on this, I've been thinking of adding a couple of outdoor weatherproof sockets to the same wiring I used to connect my CCTV camera. Am I safe to do this? The fuse is only 6Amp on that ring so I wouldn't be plugging anything too power intensive into it. Mainly just for my wife to power her turbo trainer in the garage over winter.

I don't think the fuse for that ring is RCD though, will that be a problem? It has been powering the outdoor lights for decades by the looks of it.
