NJTELECTRICAL

All, This is my first thread!!b Thank you. I have my own Electrical Contractor company and have been an electrician for 17 years with all the City and Guilds/17th Edition/Part P etc. I am now Going to Move into Solar and was after some advice. I am with Elecsa so i was going to stay with them for the Accreditation. Any thoughts on that?
I live near Manchester and i was wondering if Anyone had some ideas on the best course to take in order of getting a good foundation into Solar (no previous Experience). Course length and costs would be nice.
What is the general thoughts on the best suppliers of the materials and finally Is there much work out there and is it worth the investment.

I would really appreciate your Help.

Neil.

Check if the ECA do the PV course in your area, the guys who do the ECA courses are 'affliated' with the Elecsa assessors, so that will provide some consistency in what is being looked for. The ECA course is based on the Logic certification - 3 days around 500UKP.

Its not rockets science for someone with your experience, should sail it!
