So I just thought I would start a little thread to see as per title which Mentor you would like to spend a day with and why you would choose that particular Mentor.
It could be because you like their forum personality or it could be because you would like to experience a day in their working life.
As a quick example I mainly do Industrial installations and testing but have done jobs in quarries, shredders, churches, foundries, blue chip companies, -40 degree freezers for logistic companies etc etc
Essex deals with the railways
Darkwood deals with machinery
And the list goes on.
So don't be shy I'm curious to see what makes you tick, I want all active trainees giving their input.
And you never know one day your dream could come true.

MDJ of course, otherwise I have huge respect for Pete and Tel, both very experienced and very helpful, Tel's humour is classic, pete's enthusiasm is second to none, both incredible guys who know how to help folk and have a laugh, I respect them both very highly, can we have a muppet of the site thread? I know exactly who to vote for :D

I am employed by a company that works worldwide on contracts for the Foreign & Commonwealth office. This involves working in British Embassy's and Consulates anywhere on the planet, so far we have completed works in 47 countries and 5 continents and the list continues to grow. The work normally consists of major mechanical and electrical refurbishments to existing buildings ranging from 3 months to 3 years on any particular site. As with any jobs it has it's pros and cons. ie see the world for free but spend long periods away from home.

I wanted to tell you about Sintras job as I think it sounds amazing but considering I've just called him James bond on the phone, I didn't know whether I should Divulge his job , so sat back and hoped he would jump in.

I work somewhere special as well, and cannot say, however sintra's job sound incredible and very interesting.

Couldn't resist sorry Mike.

I'm still laughing at your first reply mate, very good lol

I've not heard from any trainees yet, mind you it's Saturday night and they're probably all out on the beer.
I guess it's just us sad old farts then.
