Johno

Has anyone on here been registered with more than 1 of the Part P schemes, and whats best and why?

Dont see the point of belonging to two or more competent person schemes unless you like little badges all over your van. I think we are paying out far to much already.

NICEIC is the best known and councils tend to prefer them. You are better off getting applications from all of them visit the websites ask questions here and decide which one is best for you.

Good luck

Chris

I have been assessed by Elecsa, and seen an assessment from the NIC, I also have a few mates who are NIC so get a good idea of what the two are like. However, whenever I bring this up on the forum, it starts some sort of argument comparable to Celtic, Rangers, Israel and Palestine altogether. In view of this problem, my lawyers have prepared a statement:

'All Part P Schemes have their strengths and weaknesses. While any person of any creed, colour, race, sex or denomination may have a preference, this preference should never be imposed on others, or even alluded to in the prescence of humans or livestock, whether in the company of like minded individuals or not. ButlersElectrical recognises this fact is to the benefit of society, and promises to cease and desist all vocal or written preference to any part P scheme, whether currently operating or otherwise'.

I hope this answers your question, johno.

agreed with rocker..!!

Easy Life = ELECSA
Life of Riley covering all aspects for one price = Napit
own view on Regs above and beyond IEE, Commercial Outfit looking for next quick buck BUT better know = NICEIC

worked for Elecsa Company and NIC Company as an Employee !!
My company is Elecsa!

Just gone with ELECSA, but a comment made about their growing numbers esp with people moving from NIC is down to the ECA certification that is now offered through ELECSA (prob the other way round)

well I chose NIC because having loked at them all, NIC was far less intrusive, no office visit etc, just wanted me, two jobs and loads of books, etc to be shown at the job. And I liked their Logo.
