I'm torn between the Knipex pliers and the Wiha insulated line. Anyone have some input as to which one is better built? I would have to order the Wiha online... as apposed to buying the Knipex at the store, but the price is about the same.

Ah but are Bahco made of kryptonite like Knipex are....?

Just joshing. Got a good lead to buy Bahco from? I have a catalogue by the bed.

I have the Knipex snips and pliers and ck snips for the smaller 1.5-2.5 that take off the insulation. the pliers i have had for a fair few years now and tbh i have not tried any others as they have been spot on and not needed to replace them. the customer service at knipex is second to none if you remember i think it was one of eskimos posts about them meeting him when they were over from Germany to replace a defective set.

I have CK & Knipex and i rate both ! i also have Bahco snipe nose pliers & side cutters that are also good and the handles are more robust, having said that NWS are ok.
