Can someone please help.

Which city and guild qualifications do I need to work as domestic installer.
As in do electrical work at customers house and sign work off.

I have part p plus 18th edition bs7671

Would I just need to do the 2392-10 testing and inspection as well?

Thanks

if you will be doing notifiable works, then contact one of the scams, niceic or whatever, and ask what they require (in addition to fat cheques each year).

What he said, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^and some experience of course, scams won't tell you that though, all they want is your dosh, but you can have that advice for free.

You need experience and knowledge, and you can never have too much of either. If any of the schemes take your stated quals as evidence of that then it's an absolute joke.
but we don't know if the OP has had some practical experience or not. never judge before learning all the facts.

Most schemes require the same kind of things. NICEIC require at least 2382-18 and 2393-10. They will also want to inspect a job that you have completed recently so that they can prove you are competent. The links below are only for a couple

Cant quite see how inspecting 1 job you have completed, will ratify your so called competency.
