Which type of Speed Controller required for 3-phase motor

Hi all

Client requested speed controller for 3-phase/4KW/7.9Amp motor running extractor fan to spray paint booth in local car mechanics

Have been advised I require

[h=1]SYSTEMAIR RTRD 14 SPEED CONTROLLER VSD VFD IMO INVERTER DRIVE FREQUENCY[/h] Reconditioned and load tested unit available at £240.00 (new £7/800.00) Could you please advise if this is the correct piece of kit as seem's pretty costly although happy to install if correct. Thanks chaps, Rabsil

Looks like this unit will be ok. Not a product I knew of but it looks as if its fit for purpose.

If it's a spray shop, are the motor controls going to be sited anywhere that would be classed as a special location?

No Marvo, outside the sealed Paintbooth area
