Do work at local care home, after recent power cut they are after UPS units for thier air mattresses (the sort that prevent bed sores).
Any suggestions? All the ones I can find seem to be aimed at IT uses.
They are also after a back up for the electrical supplies to the gas boilers for the hot water and central heating - not sure how feasible that would be as there are several pumps to operate as well. Apparently they have been told that a back up generator is out of the question for their site.

Give them a call with all the info and they may be able to help, always helped me out and the customer service was good.

Could be expensive if they want to run things for several hours - how come they can't have a generator?

Unless you have a "no break" set up you will never get a guaranteed supply. For that you will need a Standby Generator as well as the UPs.

Agree. But if it's for air flow mattresses then a minute or two for the generator to start up shouldn't be a problem.
