Currently need to upgrade my 2007 asta van (ad on here soon if allowed)...

Trying to work out the back of that on a day to day basis is an absolute nightmare!!

But what do I go for... Primstar or Vivaro or Other ??
Budget £7500 inc vat etc ?? Milage got to be under 60,000

Any thoughts please ?

Not that it will help, but does anybody know if there has been a large release of ex-BT vans at auction lately? All of a sudden I'm seeing a hell of a lot of pale grey 90s transits, and I want to know where they're coming from cos they were tidy vans...

Register on the BCA website and you can get all the latest up and coming fleet auctions and you get a free breakfast with your registration fee;)

We have a big BCA near us in Brighouse, Junction 25 M62, a bit far for some of you i know but they have frequent van sales. Anything ex BT usually commands a good price, i know someone who worked in their workshops in Leeds. Everything leaves them fully kitted out with racking etc etc and fully serviced up with nothing left to chance, they are serviced on the nail and get what they need even if they are off fleet in next week or so.

Cheers.........Howard

if it was my choice Merc Vito crackin all round plenty space n cummfy driving

or the 110 280 transit ex bt ones sound good specialy whith racking

2005 Vivaros with full Bott Racking and mileage usually less than 40k are going through BCA via BT Fleet fir around £4.5k +Vat.

That's my next port of call as I'm fed up if working out of my Astravan too. It's doing my back in!!! :-(

Could get a tidy Toyota Hiace 2.5 D4-D with 40k miles for that money. Under rated vans in my opinion. ;)

Had a Hiace, mechanically brilliant, not the best for loads of mileage, used to do about 40k/annum and it was not comfy :(

Next was a Renault Traffic again brilliant and spacious and comfy :)

Have now just got Fiat Scudo long wheel base, nippy spacious and all mod cons (bluetooth air/con etc)
