Who should I register with?

Hello all,

I have completed my domestic installers course and now need to register!

I have read the sticky 'who are you registered with' and had decided on Napit or Elecsa.... However I have found another body called 'Stroma' which is licensed by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

They only cost £245 for the registration fee which would be my reason for choosing them as its much cheaper than all of the others. Do these bodies offer anything else other than making you legal? If not then it seems sensible to go for the cheapest.

Just wondered what everyones thoughts are?

You may as well get stiffed for £245 than substantially more than that mate. Apparently Elecsa's helpline is pretty good but then again so is Napit's. No one seems to know anything about Stroma as they never reply to email queries

I think Stroma are concentrating on the Solar market at the moment.
