Southern Spark

I have been let down by the wholesaler, I have converted some low voltage mr 16s to Gu10 LEDs, and added a few downlights here and there, at the end of the job I was one led GU10 short. I popped to the wholesaler last friday to order the other lamp for this friday. I called them today to see if the lamp was in, but the ---. manager forgot to order it, and later he tells me he cant get any more... useless. I know it is a long shot, but I am after a kosnic 7 W led GU10 in cool white... if anyone near bournemouth has a spare one or knows somewhere that they are readily available. I dont mind travelling a bit and paying over the odds,I just cant stand getting flack from customers when wholesalers mess up and i always feel like I am in the wrong and just making excuses... thanks a lot

ebay have got 6 items on which may be suitable, do a search on 'kosnic 7 W led GU10' - don't know if theyre suitable for you? Daz

I have been on ebay, they are the ones I need, but a 7 to 8 day delivery time :( and swindon is a bit far for me to drive to. Thanks telectrix, you always seem to get there first :) I cant find the kosnics on there, but it looks like a handy site

Hello mate have you tried Poole lighting cabot lane? Either them or Kew electrical also Cabot lane, failing that there is a huge lighting centre opposite poole lighting which may have what you need?

Talkin of ebay ...been flickin between here and there and have just seen an add for a hi-pot tester from the usa made by "slaughter"....what they been using it for?...a cattle prod?...lol.......

I had a look at those so-called ''Hi Pot'' testers, ...there nothing but glorified flash testers. What i call a Hi Pot tester is a test kit you you test MV/HV cables/ TXs /Insulators with. Generally they will have a mid range of 30KV . In fact, they only had one on there The Hi-potronics set in the wooden box, It's one that i have used many times.

On the ad, they say it is missing the TX module, well as far as i know, that bit of kit incorporates the TX within unit, there is no separate module!! But it maybe a different model, but i doubt it!! lol!!
