Whos seen skyfall?

I went with my daughter yesterday, It was a good film IMO, but not great, overhyped and not really like a James Bond movie, anyone else seen it?

Was supposed to see it last night but while at picks heard a group of people slating it. So watched argo which was very slow.

Saw it when I was home on the weekend it was released. Thought it was different from the normal Bond films, but a much fuller story line and did reflect more of the Angst that the character went through which is how Fleming wrote it.

I really enjoyed it, though to be honest some of the scenes were a little, well stretching the point of legitimacy, especially the one where M was at a parliamentary hearing .....................but well worth a watch.

yeah different for sure, didn't like it as a bond film though, they are moving away from the traditional movie bond and diving a little deeper into the dark side of assassins and spy world, I am not sure if I want it moving in this direction, I liked the welcome to scotland bit with the old guy and the sawn off haha, that was funny.

Reminded me when I first met my father in law in the late 70's, except my father in law was scarier and he never needed a sawn off

By any chance does it start out with an action sequence, then Bond pulls a bird, gets into a life threatening situation, but eventually lives to make another film???

I lost interest in Bond after I saw the Jason Bourne movies. Bourne would wipe the floor with Bond I reckon.

Great film I thought. Liked the exploration of his imperfections.

I especially liked the bit about him being held together with booze & pills, what a guy

that's almost as bad as saying engineers get more birds than electricians! even david niven could give matt damon a kicking. seriously though, bourne's pretty cool, but the decision goes to bond on points, 120 - 107 (round 9's a 10 - 8).

well skyfall , and for that matter Quantom Solace arent "bond films" in the true sense as neither were written by ian flemming. ;-)
all the film conversions of his original books have been done , no more original 007 stories from now on i'm afraid.
I just cant take to daniel craig as a bond to be honest , he lacks the charm of pierce brosnan.

skyfall is an amazing hit..!!! cinemas all over country have had to put extra screenings on to deal with the demand. its great plot very british style which is fantastic to see and scences from london and scoyland are very memorable scences.! daniel craig is a great bond.. its witty great scences, superbly directed and brilliantly written.! best film of 2012 by far.. cant wait for next 1.!!

i probably won't get a single 'like' for this, but what the hell, i'm going to stick my neck out and proclaim roger moore as the greatest bond of all time! suave, sophisticated, charming and funny. my favourite.
