think that the electric supply is a never ending supply

Just been asked to look at wiring a kitchen and the list of appliance loads makes the mind boggle

You have just got to wonder how often the main cut out fuse will blow in the future if everything in the house is turned on

It was good enough fifty years ago when the house was built so it will be good enough now.

Tell me about it a couple of years ago the owner of my local golf club wanted to save money so asked my advice,I said he should replace all the 500w halogen fittings on the car park with a smaller number of 70w son fittings. He decided that the best thing was to have pir,s fitted in toilets to turn off 4x 58 w fittings when toilets are unoccupied.

Tell them to get their rubber gloves on and do some work. Too many people relying on appliances while they settle back to read a magazine....

we`v worked on a few houses owned by trendy sandal wearing green lefties.....they always want to show off to all their `friends`...(hanger onners more like) though with their african black granite worktops, expensive ceramic sinks and all their convenience appliances...there they are prattling on about their `green credentials`....green?...dont talk sh*te methinks..lol..

Just like the "green" couple on "Grand designs" who wanted an eco-house. Trouble was, they needed 100,000 tons of concrete putting down before they could start work. It was a tough choice, but they agreed in the end...for the good of the environment.
