Hey guys

So I tried to change my light switch today to a WiFi on

When I took the switch out there were two live wires. One brown and one blue with a brown casing on it

I hooked up the wires as stated and that were similar to what the origin Al switch was set up to The power came on the switch.i did the wifi set up etch.

But the lights just won't come on at all An do have no idea why. I have two lights on the living that at Co trolled by the 1 switch And only the two wires behind that powering it.

Can anyone help as to why the lights won't come on e en though there is power going to the switch It's a so off light switch ( I think.)

I can take pics of that helps

I'm. Just confused as to why it won't switch on the lights So frustrating

Then you cannot use it, unless you provide a neutral at the switch.
That will need a replacement/additional cable to be run from the light to the switch.
Not easy this electric stuff, is it?

PS, to be helpful, can you explain what you want achieve with this wifi switch?
If it is just to control a lamp, you can get lamps that can be controlled by WIFI, APP,ALEXA, etc just by swopping the lamp.
THIS sort of thing
