Windows 8 Can't use enter when writing posts!

Hi all, just recently updated to windows 8 and for some reason I cannot use the 'Enter' function for starting a new sentence in posts! Any help would be very much appreciated.

Its not the os but the browser you are using mate

Windows 8 isnt an upgrade it is a downgrade from windows 95 that has a proper start menu.

Nearly 20 years old lol

Metro is designed for touchscreen devices and doesnt work properly with a mouse and keyboard

It is definitely windows 8. Can get the update for 8.1 free but I'm not bothering! I have a feeling it'll just make a crap OS even worse. Wish I'd stuck with XP. We live and learn!

Disable uac straight away then its bassically the same as xp except it has an orb instead of saying start

I think it was an issue with a version of Internet Explorer that had a problem where the enter/return key didn't work in the forum reply box. You can try updating IE, it was several months ago when people were having this problem so they should have fixed it by now. Even better rather use Opera or Firefox,neither of these browsers had that problem.
