Congratulations, the technical Head of Test-Meter has chosen your ceiling rose as the the winner, although it was a difficult decision for him.

Well done for your entry:-

Any time served Electrician would be proud of that.

To all the Trainees that entered this competition Thank You, better luck next time. It was a close call to make, glad I did not have to make it!

Other prize competitions will be posted up in the future and on a regular basis. Your posts and involvement of these competitions makes this place what it is. Again, thanks to all of you for getting involved.

Flex_m PM me your address and I'll post the Martindale Mulitimeter to you.

BIG THANK YOU to Test-Meter for the prize. Supporting and encouraging the next generation of electricians.

Well done Flex great job, Congrats!!

excellent work. just a good job the fixing screws weren't part of the assessment. YUK. :willy_nilly:

Wow, I really didn't expect this, after seeing the show us your installs thread I was just happy to put a picture up in a thread where the workmanship didn't pail in insignificance to the rest. I'm still a long way off completing work of that complexity and standard, but it's nice to have my work appreciated.

Many thanks to Paul and the rest of the mentors for all the time you dedicate from your no doubt already busy lives, I don't think we realise quite how lucky we are to have your guidance.

EDIT

Sorry I completely forgot about the prize! I'll send you my address now Paul. Thanks to everyone at Test-Meter, I can finally retire my Sealey and give it the slower pace of life it deserves at it's old age.

Flex_m has just sent me (via PM) his address, BUT with no name????? Looks like I'll have to make a name up for him lads????

Now then,,,, what name can we put on a package for him???...... Flex, your going to be stitched up mate, take it as banter when you get your prize through the letterbox

Put your return address on it Paul but with a name that sounds like it's an "adult entertainment" outlet. Address it to Flexible Mick.
That'll teach him!
:)

Oops! Must have been because I feel so at home here I didn't think a name would be necessary...

Yea I deserve it, all part of being a trainee. Do your worst!

You silly boy that's like giving the Lion the keys to the zebra enclosure

@ Flem_m, I've received your PM giving me your full name...... Too late, your getting the mick taken out of you and your postman will have a laugh.

@ Trev, yes, great idea

@ Flex_m, I have not had chance this week at all to post it out to you. My wife Mrs M will post it for me tomorrow, look out for the postman with a smile on his face
