If wiring two sockets vertical to each other do you take the second leg to the bottom socket around or behind the back box of the top socket.

I'm only asking because the building inspector made me change the wiring to go behind the back of the top socket.

It would be to tight to take it trough the top box when doing second fix, the cable was no further than 15mm away from the KO box, but he said it was not to building regs. At the end of the day only frank spencer would drill a cable 15mm from a socket outlet :)
