all depends on what it is. from a basic switch change upwards.

Basically ditch the existing switch or crimp it , the receiver ( switched or dimmable ) is installed between loop and luminaire ( some receivers require neutral )
then programme the switch to receiver ( rako require a magnet to activate the reed switch , wyse have on board dip, - c- bus and Lutron GRX and 6000 a bit more complex
