wireless security systems

hello all, i've got an interview next week with a company who fit domestic wireless security alarms and the bloke said i'll need knowledge of setting up wireless networks.
i've only worked on a few large commercial fire and security systems which were all wired so could anybody give me any information on how they're fitted/ set up.
I'm a full sparks and only applied for this job because i've had no work for 3 months and am desperate!
