A client of mine has bought a bidet (Korean 110/120v,600va max). Can this be supplied via a standard 240v/110v 1kva "site transformer"(sited in the attic),and would it be ok to keep the transformer on a permanent feed.?

I'm not sure I'd want to wash my bits on a bidet that required power!
However I see no reason why your suggestion won't work.

One problem could be the bidet will probably require phase and neutral where as the site transformer will be centre tapped. If you use a 1KVA autotransformer the buildings earth leakage protection will also be extended to the 110V side.
