Wiring help for Meross thermostat

I currently have a Myson thermostat that is no longer working. I have a Meross thermostat to replace it. I have attached photos of the current wiring and of the new thermostat. Could anyone advise on where the wires would go into the new thermostat?

The Meross thermostat requires a 240V mains supply, but your original Myson did not, so there is probably no mains supply in the wall there. There does seem to to be a spare wire but you would need to safely do some detective work to find out where that goes.

The simple way of resolving this would be to get a replacement mechanical thermostat,

With that you would just put the two wires currently in the block at the top of the Myson into the 'COM' and 'NO' terminals of the new one.
