I am enquiring about design requirements for a small lighting circuit and a small socket outlet circuit in an internal garage. The house has an RCD protected ring final circuit on the ground floor with no spurs. There is a SO on the wall adjoining the garage on this ring final circuit. Is it compliant to take a suppy from this SO through a 13A fused spur into the garage and use this to supply 2 or 3 socket outlets? Would it also be compliant to take a supply from one of these SO through a 3A fused spur to supply 2 overhead pendant lights?
