Wiring light bulb

Hi all,

how would you wire your light switch?
look at the the two pics below


one method i found seem to run a cable from
power to cieling rose and then light switches in order by having switched live and live from bulb joint together like below

other one is , power to one light switch and then wire through to second switch .. Finally from last switch power to light

another question is , if you need to be able to switch the light on and off from
more than 2 switches , do you need a 3 way each side and 4 way in middle ?

those seem to be US diagrams. here we use 2 way switches and if a 3rd switch position is required, an intermediate switch is fitted. try looking at some UK diagrams.

yes, but generally the brown and the sleeved blue would be the other way round in the rose.

What happens if you don't have a ceiling rose so something like batten lights, use terminal connectors to connect them

i'd use a small enclosure with wagos above the ceiling. need to have a 2" hole in the ceiling to access.
