Hi,

got to wire some storage heaters never done them before, is it therefore the customer would need a economy 7 meter fitted by electrical company, then from there in to a new c/u and each heater supply by a radial circuit wired in 2.5 and a 16amp mcb and a fused spur at each heater.

thanks

Customer will need an E7 meter fitted which will mean that everything in the house will go onto a cheaper rate at around 1030pm to about 7am, if heaters are fitted before this happens his bill will go into orbit.

Customer should carefully checkout the cost of economy 7 units of electrical energy... because of the weird and wonderful pricing techniques employed by energy companies they are no longer so certain to be saving you money. After years of putting the dishwasher and washing machine on to come on overnight i discovered that it was actually costing me more, not saving anything

Many years ago the ones we had were turned on by timers, but any electricity used within the preset hours automatically goes through the economy 7 meter.
