What on earth is a CU locator?
He means a CU 'relocator'. Basically a pre made version of an enclosure with a DIN rail and terminals
True...they are limitedMake up your own Walsall usually have in stock the connectors and boxes with DIN rails. Thats the way I do it just seen these latest offerings from Wiska and they are just not right for what I need and don't appear to be able to be flexible and interchange parts for different needs.

They seem expensive, over £60. I usually use a £10 gewiss box and wagos/ideal connectors for this sort of thing. Can't see the need for the din rail personally.
