Hi All,

I had a small leak on a copper elbow that I was repairing but when I went to switch the water back on I noticed that a connector with purple wires was hanging loose, its wired at one end to the front panel and has a three hole terminal on the end and its on a wiring loom just under the condensate trap.

Dont know if it was always that way or somehow I dislodge it although I dont think so and i cant see where its supposed to plug into - any ideas?

Dont want to put the water back on as it stands unless I know its ok?

see if you can find a matching plug to fit . if not, put the water back on. try firing the boiler. if it's wrong, you should get a fault code displayed. these will be found in the installation manual, which should have been left on site by the installer.

Is this the boiler you have? I took a very quick look through the manual but cant find anything about your connector. Also there isnt a schematic. Have a look to see if you can find anything about it.

Are these any help?

Its wired into the front panel of the boiler but cant see anywhere there is actually somewhere to plug this end into?

It the only one on the loom thats not connected though?

Dont know what to suggest mate, except switch it on and see if it works or you get an error message. By the look of the pic you took of the connector, if it was to fit anywhere within the boiler I would expect it to be tie-wrapped to the others. This one is tie-wrapped by itself, suggesting that if should be connected anywhere it should be round the bottom of the boiler.
