Here is a list i have created for my quotation package. Im looking for opinions on the hours it takes todo. i know a ruff estimate but i know each job can vary but i am trying to get accurate to the average job as possible. any help guys?

I have also included time for board lifting and wire feeding. (all new installations/rings)

looks fair give or take . you'll never be able to estimate accurately as each job is different and brings it's own problems. example. if earthing and bonding need attention, that could more than double the time taken. and don't forget to add time for testing and form filling.

ah thanks fella, to test a full household up and down lights, up and down sockets, cooker, shower, whats aprox testing time required from your experience if you dont mind or is it a set price.

ive put £150 which is a set price. but would prefer if possible to be more accurate on timing encase smaller/bigger jobs come along.

that £150 you quote is for 6 circuits, so that £25 per circuit. about right. so if you have 8 circuits go 8 x 25 =£200 sssimplesss.

I'm with tel on this, but would add, that if you stick to those times rigidly and without seeing the job first, then be prepared to take the rough with the smooth. You will come across a cooker like mine that took me less than an hour to fit and wire and test. But i once spent a whole day (10 hours fitting one a few years ago, due to concrete floors and the CU being 2 rooms away.

Cheers..........Howard
