Working in Power Stations?

Hi I was just wondering if someone could tell me how you would go about getting a job in a Powerstation? I am just coming out of my apprenticeship, and would like to know my options? Do you need a degree? If so, what one? Etc. I have tried looking for this information but can't seem to find anything. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

In what capacity do you want to work in a powerstation? If its during construction, then you need to hold a JIB card, along with a safety passport (aka CCNSG). it also helps if you've got confined spaces and IPAF.

I dont know what the requirements for maintenance will be, but I'm sure that someone may be able to help.
