Worst calibration Failures?

Anyones MFT ever failed on a calibration?

Whtas the most someones had to pay to get it back on scale.

Took mine for calb before. Wholesalers said £60 + vat and then extra for any faults!!! I said what...thought its meant to put it back in calb for the price....they said no....

So whats the most someone has had to pay to get their MFT back in working order?

Not had one that was working ever fail. Whether they adjusted anything I don't know.
Had one once that was beeping continuously on continuity - said it might be easy, might be big job.

On this subject - does anyone know if they just tweak something inside - surely they must be adjustable.
