Great campaign. I hope it makes it all the way to the statute books.

So a company comes in, completes a survey, goes away designs the system, then comes back and does the hard sell.
No rules broken , even complies to the REAL code, as long as they do not stay for more than 2 hours(if I remember right)

Sorry but at times I feel these campaigns, meetings, etc etc all to be a waste of time and money.

Follow the golden rules:

Rule #1: Never answer your front door, if you didnt invite or expect anyone to visit.
Rule #2: Get your friends to phone, before they come round.
Rule #3: Never do business with a salesperson that you didnt instigate contact with.
Rule #4: Never invite a salesperson into your home, you didnt invite round.
Rule #5: Make sure you have a friend with you if any salesperson visits.
Rule #6: Never sign a contract on the same day in the presence of a salesperson, take time to digest / read it before completing.

if only someone could have told me rule 3 last year i could of saved a WHOLE lot of money

and yet .... my business mentor, who is interested in solar himself and a very savvy guy, tells me that he's happier with a quote on the night. Of course he's done his homework before anyone comes, knows what he wants etc but he's a busy man and wants a company that will just get on with it.
