Was channel hopping on the telly earlier, and ended up on some shopping channel. Saw this thing which looked quite handy, Worx sonic crafter, looks like it does what a fein does but at half the price. They wanted £119.95 plus £9.99 P&P, Argos are knocking them out for £69.99 with a 3 year guarantee, anyone used one? and is it worth the money, I am very tempted as the wife keeps asking me what I wanted for my birthday last July.

Cheers.......Howard

Hi Howard

I use the Bocsh version (Green) with lead and I've found it fantastic. I use it for notching out joists, cutting touges on T&G floor boards and cutting on joists etc. Cost me about £60. Sorry dont know how to insert Pic or Link. its called a Bosch all-rounder Kit can get it at ARgos

Hope this helps

Steve

Hi Guys,
I use the Green Bosch one as well. it's an OK bit of kit.
The Sonic is a 'badged' unit and sells as a Rockwell in the US and possibly the Einhell over here as well. Only issue maybe the supply of replacement blades as I'm not sure if they are unique for this make. Argos don't seem to do them, or at least they didn't when I asked a couple of months back.

Cheers,
Lofty.
