[ElectriciansForums.net] Would hate to be the mod that has to deal with all this....

I noticed this issue has happened a couple of times. I use an RSS feed and that is also affected. It is back to normal now, but it would be interesting to know why this is happening from time to time.

The MODs are doing a good job at keeping this to a minimum.. (God I sound like a creep)... I don't see a lot now-a-days. I just bug them a lot cause I report all spam posts I see.

This Chinese Uni' spam is from an embedded spambot in the software, they can be a bugger to locate and extract, we also have a healthy options spambot that is attacking daily but you only see a few of them get through as the software blocks many of them, we had a few very bad weeks with the Chinese one and if you were to click on the most posts for a said month it highlights just how many attacks it tried doing before you even saw one on the forum... they use software to trick the forum into believing they are real people joining and with time they get more advanced ...

There are also a few regulars on the forum we believe are spambots given the regular crap they throw out :D

The trouble is that one of the Spambots is top poster of the month - there must be a few seething on here!
- expect toys out of the pram any minute now!
