I cant find my post from yesterday appears it may have been removed?

IEE Regs.jpg

Do you thik this would answer the question sufficiantly?
1)
Equipotential bonding

From main earth terminal to extraneous conductive parts, including water installation pipes, Gas installation pipes, and exposed metalic parts of the building

2)
Automatic disconection of the supply,

the maximun disconection times for TN systems is 0.4s and TT systems 0.2s

3)
Additional protection
RCD protection is required for socket outlets not exceeding 20a for use by an ordinary person for general use

4)
Basic insulation of live parts
Live parts should be completely covered with insulation which can only be removed by distruction

5)
By placing obstacles to prevent unintentional approach to
or contact with live parts. This method must only be used
where skilled persons are working

I thought that image would have appeared larger it says:

The intention of the IEE regs is to provide protection against five, shock and burns. Give examples of their installations that an inspector would look at to ensure that this requirement would be met.

So in that case, my own interpretation of it would be they want you to give them examples of things in jobs you have installed that ensure these requirements are met. What you have quoted would fulfil the regs, but they want you to tell an inspector what to look at.........But that is how i see it.. Hope that helps you

I think the first should be appropriate selection of equipment to prevent overloading and thereby overheating. (Fire and Burns)
Then perhaps basic insulation of live parts. (Fire, Shock and Burns)
Then limitation of fault duration by ADS. (Shock)
Limitation of voltage by provision of additional protection by RCD and equipotential bonding. (Shock)
Appropriate placement of equipment subject to high heat, to prevent nearby materials from catching fire and to prevent persons coming into contact ith such equipment. (Fire and Burns)
