I ave purchased a Wylex metal consumer unit but they don't seem to supply accessories e.g. glands/grommets. Where can I get appropriate ones that conform to amendment 3 or are any suitable?:saddam:

I have installed a Wylex CU, the supply cable was SWA so glanded that, the circuit cables were rear entry, nothing supplied for those knockout so had to use grommet strip! There nothing in the regs to say entries have to be fire resistant, so use whatever you need/got.

Going to install a Hager one next week - they supply the grommets for the rear entries, will see how it works!

you could always use a header then jigsaw out the board. i would personally use this type of grommit strip

The Design 10 boards come with a small amount of grommet strip and the Design 30 with 1 metal frame/lug thing and a small amount of grommet strip. Each bit of grommet is about enough for one knock-out but not all 3 in each board. HTH.

Personally, I would take a Ze measurement myself rather than rely on someone else's maybe drive by scrap of paper.
