Wylex bs5419 60 amp switch fuse

Hi guys,

Need to upgrade a 60amp wylex bs5419 to 80amp, will the 80 fit the carrier ? not got one on board to try , or does it need to be a new unit ??

Hi Nick,

No its the push in carrier, Its protecting tails that exeed 3 meters , hot tub and other stuf installed so prob need to upgrade ? max demand now around 92 amps

Sorry Jem, the 80-100A units are different than the 40-60s and the carriers are bigger.

KMF do a nice little unit for under 30 pound and I personally prefer tails protected by a fuse

Don't you find it a bit of a bark trying to bend an eyelet into nails Tel. I'm more of braizing a bit of 15mm copper pipe across the carrier pins, always get a good secure fitting that way, as you no what a loose connection can do mate
