Wylex fuseboards (OLD)

Hiya Fellas and some ladies
Can anyone tell me where i can get a fuse cover for an 8 way Wylex fuseboard. The old bakelite type. Dark brown/black.The fuses are the re-wireable type.Anyone gor one laying around anywhere. ?? Thanks

What rating do you need?

I would recommend a C/U change, mind.

Thanks for the reply fellas. I only really need the 8 way fuse cover .Just done a job where34 i had to alter the sockets etc and add a cououple to a kitchen ring. So put that circuit on a remote RCD unit as the client woulds not pay to replace the board. and unfortunately the cover got broke, and he isw insisting i rep0lace the cover.

Oh I see the bit that goes over all the fuses and screws into the cowling of the board, yes? I may have one in the shed check back tomorrow and I will see if I can find it.

Sparks, I'll check our stores too - might have one but it might be cream? You could check Ebay, some sell what we would throw away.

Granny Smiff and I ripped TWO out yesterday...... Will check tomorrow if they are still on site.....Dont hold your breath was a lot of cleaning going on but I think the covers may still be laying in the cellar will look tomorrow and let you know.....fingers crossed.

tHINK YOU MEAN bs3036 FUSES . i ONLY NEED THE FUSE COVER THAQT SCREWS ON AS LONG AS ITS DARK COLOUR. CREAM WILL BE OK IF THE BASE IS WITH IT. tHANKS

No joy sorry had a few here but i think theyve all been 'tidied up' by the missus. Were all cream thiugh anyway....
