Hopefully someone here will be able to offer some advice. What regulations / standards should a Sailing Yacht be wired too?

Basically none unless its big enough to be covered by the MCA or its for commercial use then youll need suitable marine engineering qualifications....you just have to know things are done differently on boats.....

How big is the yacht?I have worked with commercial sparks in the past and they have also worked on yachts as well,i don't think they had any special qualifications.I think you just need an understanding of marine wiring which i don't have mate.I did find this,if it's of any help. Low voltage electrics for marine, motorhome and caravan use

The yacht is just under 15m long. I have a good knowledge of marine wiring on yachts but wanted to see if there was any qualification that I should have before under going any work.
