Well you'd probably stand a better chance of that than educating Joe Public about the existance of Part P and it's importance!
Went to see a job this evening, wish I didn't even bother.

RCD? Never heard of it! was the reply

Bonding? What's Gas and Water got to do with the Electric? I only want a light!!!
The job will not be getting completed by me and I wouldn't mind betting that the British Gas label that I spotted on the Consumer Unit ends up being removed.
"This appliance is unsafe...... blah blah blah" Wish I had taken a photo but in all honesty I couldn't wait to get out. It was blatantly obvious that they weren't going to entertain having the work done properly.
Oh... the RCD plug adapter that the chaps wife kindly bought him because he keeps chopping through the hedge cutter cable??? Nah, he still doesn't use it!
