Well to be honest he had to it's the first thing they have to do. If his brother's been involved in the legal side of the Fit dispute I can't see him walking away from the Supreme Court.


I just wish they would hurry up with the announcement for post 1st April.

The new rates for April 1st need to be put before Parliament by about 20th Feb at the latest.

Would they not need to be in the information that we're all waiting for from the consultation - that has to be out by the 9th doesn't it?

There are several key dates coming up.

9th Feb, DECC promised the PV consultation response by then including details of energy efficiency requirements (EPC C or whatever) and multi-installation % reduction.

9th Feb, DECC promise to publish the next level of FiTs consultation covering all other technologies and a managed tariff reduction mechanism.

20th Feb, Parliament must see all changes (including the 2012/13 tariffs) by this date in order to have 40 days to review before they come into force on 1st April.

1st March, OFGEM must publish the new 2012/13 tariffs by this date.
