As funny as it may seem, later this year i will be moving a house the same way. I have a guesthouse in Cambodia on an estuary. Only moving a bungalow (same as pic) mater of meters but this is the way to move apparently or $500 a day for two cranes. No risk assesment or method statement needed as Buddah will be on our side.

One of the pump houses I worked had lifting eyes on each section of roof.
Change a motor, no problem! Lift the roof off, old motor lifted out, new in, replace roof. A 200HP motor changed in two hours flat.

In the middle and far east people tend to have a pretty cavalier attitude to health and safety. I remember phillipinos and indians in Saudi wearing flip flops.

Saw a program with a team moving a light house on rollers cpl of years ago ! very intresting ! saw this program also about some houses near a cliff some had went over pitty they dont do the same ! some houses were nice and id have to try something ! i know there are demolition companies who make some good coin selling off the reclaimed materials.
