Hi I know this is a debatable topic looking at other threads so sorry to put the cat amongst the pigeons again... If you want to ZS a light circuit I know you can use Ze + (R1 +R2) but I think it's good practice to Zs to eliminate faults such as connection at CU, switch faults etc. Anyway, with a three lead test no probs with a ceiling rose but with downlights if I don't want to pull every one down because of time and risk the clips damaging the pboard, is the only way a BC adaptor and then wander lead to the cpc in the light switch as opposed to a 2 lead which may trip RCD? What's the quickest/best way?
Thanks
