came across this today
customer said they had this fitted a week ago. no cert was issued "things keep tripping the RCD thing out!" they rang the original installer he said theyre sytem was old and thats ot thier fault. bond to gas =none bond to water = none just amazing look at the lower bar(s) -

Hi guys, I've got 2 x 10mm/sq at cu. 1 of them is giving me a ze reading of 176 ohms and the other 1 won't test on my fluke mf 1653b it is a tt install but no sign of rod. How do I tell wether I'm getting a reading thru the gas or water bond, no signs of bonding any where. Thanks -

5.3 kw double oven on a 20 amp fuse with 2.5 cable
evening all, I was told to run 2.5 cable from fuseboard to supply a 3.5 kw single oven. Job is done.... Now they've said theyre going to put in a 5.3kw double oven in. My dimmer switch servicing six 12volt MR16 went. Pushed it in and nothing happened, no click. Replaced it with new component. Stil did not work. Replaced the two transformers. Still does not work. Any advice/tips before I call in an electrician?- Zaffy

Head Scratching time lighting fault

Evening all, Has anyone been fitting "Lamp & Gear" 4W LED's? I've fitted quite a few, mainly in shop lighting to existing fittings, and have had a few failures, some within weeks. Some have been in downlighters and some in spotlight fittings (not enclosed). Just wondering if I've been unlucky! -
