Emergency light recommendations

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend a reliable brand for emergency lighting bulkheads please? I have a job coming up to replace 30 odd units.

I have used JCC in the past, to my cost as they had a high failure rate within the 1st couple of years. I've had good experiences with Ansell products but not tried their emergency lights yet.

Since the advent of LED lighting the quality/reliability of all brands has dropped like a stone, from my experience:
Ansell, high failure rate with bulkheads.
Channel, as above but the twin spots I would recommend.
JCC, high failure rate with bulkheads.
Tamlite, wouldn't touch with a barge pole. High failure rate, odd sizes, odd cable entries and the worst termination points I have come across (are designed for one cable only).
If I was to suggest a brand even though they are not perfect it would be Eaton Menvier but as I say none are the quality of the pre LED types.

As feared. Fit anything LED, say a prayer and hope it last beyond 12 months lol!


I might even look at battery and lamp changes on a few units 1st.
