When I was doing my apprenticeship we used to use little clip on metal lugs that clipped on the outside of a 35mm backbox to prevent the box pulling out when side fixing. They were made by MK but I can't remember the part no. or find them anywhere. Can anyone remember the part no. of these?

We used them when side fixing double metal boxes. It was kind of like a fastfix lug but for a metal box. It prevented the non fixed side of the box from pulling out. You slip the metal box into the hole in the cavity, clip on one of the these lugs and then side fix the box. They came in packs of 10 and were made by MK. A fee times I've seen them on switch boxes at both sides, like an old school metal fastfix. I hope this makes sense??

Ok, but looking at them on the TLC site. if you put one on either side of pattress, wouldnt the face plate clamp them and pattress in place when screwed down......just like dry linning box?
